Primark provides innovative Turn-key identification products for the industrial and development industry. With a wide range of product categories. From pipe markers, conduit, markers, adhesive markers, and tags. To signs, medical ID tape and accessories. They even have cohesive services that complement their products, such as custom orders, shipping and delivery professional submittals, and organized packaging. They came to us mainly because the current website they had at the time only had 4 products 3 services.
The first major challenge was, Their new site needed to showcase all of the product categories in an organized way so that the customer can find exactly what they’re looking for. Once they did find the specific product, that product page had to include all the technical information and specs as well as downloadable support documents. We achieved this with a side navigation bar to conveniently cycle through all of the categories and products.
Secondly the site had to integrate systems to make the buying process easier for the customer and more streamlined for Primark. We achieved this by collecting contact information before a resource can be downloaded, and a step by step guide on the order page. On the individual product pages we utilized email buttons that automatically writes the subject and body copy, streamlining the sales process.
We also helped them create a new product catalog, sell sheets for their two most popular products and trade show banners and backdrops. All of which utilized QR codes to funnel the readers to the desired product page. Seamlessly merging real-life readers to warm digital traffic.
Lastly they needed photos for their newest products and a custom video background for the homepage.
Style Guide
To solve their organizational issues, we came up with a color coded system that represents every product category. Each category also had a unique icon to distinguish what is what. For consistency we also applied the same formula to the services.
